Once upon a time, there was a man named Peter who lived near the Sea of Galilee. Peter was a fisherman and loved spending his days in his small boat, casting his nets into the water in search of fish. It was hard work, but Peter did it joyfully because it was what he knew best.

One day, Peter and his friends were out on the lake, casting their nets again and again, but they were having no luck. They had been fishing all night and hadn't caught a single fish. They were tired and discouraged.

On the shore of the lake, a man named Jesus was speaking to the crowd that had gathered to listen to him. The crowd was so close to the water that Jesus got into Peter's boat and asked him to take it a little further out on the lake so that everyone could hear him better.

Peter agreed and took Jesus a little further out. As Jesus spoke to the crowd, Peter was attentive to his words but also thought about their bad luck in fishing that night.

When Jesus finished speaking, he looked at Peter and said, "Cast the nets into the water and fish." Peter felt a bit surprised, as they had been fishing all night without success, but decided to do as Jesus had told him.

Peter and his friends cast the nets into the water once more, and suddenly, something amazing happened. The nets were filled with fish, so many that they seemed about to break. Peter and his friends were excited and amazed. They had caught more fish than they had ever seen in their lives.

Peter looked at Jesus in astonishment and realized that this was a miracle. He fell to his knees before Jesus and said, "Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!" Peter felt humbled and overwhelmed by the presence of Jesus and the miracle he had witnessed.

Jesus smiled and said to Peter, "Do not be afraid, from now on you will be a fisher of men." Jesus was inviting Peter and his friends to join him in his mission to teach people about love and the Kingdom of God.

Peter and his friends left everything behind and followed Jesus. They left their nets and their boats and became disciples of Jesus, learning from him and sharing his message of love and hope with others.
