Once upon a time, there was a shepherd who looked after a flock of sheep. The shepherd was very good and loved his sheep very much. He always made sure they had enough grass to eat and fresh water to drink. He also protected them from dangers, such as the wolves lurking nearby.

One day, while the shepherd was tending the flock in a green field, he saw a little lamb that was lost. The lamb had separated from the group and did not know how to get back to the other sheep. It was scared and lonely, bleating sadly.

The shepherd felt compassion for the lost lamb. He left the other sheep in the field and went to look for it. He found it trembling behind some bushes and carefully lifted it up in his arms. The lamb felt safe and happy to be with its good shepherd.

The shepherd returned to the flock with the lost lamb in his arms. All the other sheep were delighted to see it again. The shepherd said to everyone, "I am so glad to have found our lost friend. Now we are all together and safe."

Jesus, who was also a good shepherd, told a similar story to his followers. He told them that he was like the good shepherd who takes care of his sheep and is willing to seek and rescue the lost lamb. Jesus loved all people, and when someone strayed from God or felt lost, He was ready to find them and guide them back to the flock.
