A long time ago, in a distant land, there lived a man named Jairus. Jairus was a leader in the community and deeply loved his family, especially his daughter, a small and beloved girl. But one day, Jairus' happiness crumbled when his daughter fell seriously ill.

Jairus sought the help of doctors and tried everything he could, but his daughter's illness worsened each day. Jairus felt desperate, not knowing what else to do. He had heard of a man named Jesus, a teacher and healer, who had performed amazing miracles.

With hope in his heart, Jairus decided to seek Jesus. When he found him, he knelt before him and pleaded, "Teacher, please come and heal my daughter, she is very ill." Jairus had faith that Jesus could help his daughter.

Jesus, with compassion in his heart, nodded and set off for Jairus' house. A crowd followed him, eager to see what would happen. But in the midst of the crowd, a woman who had been sick for many years approached Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak, believing that it would heal her. Instantly, the woman felt healed and free from her sickness.

Jesus, feeling the woman's touch, stopped and asked who had touched him. The woman, trembling with emotion, stepped forward and told him her story. Jesus blessed her and encouraged her to go in peace.

While this was happening, messengers from Jairus' house arrived with discouraging news: "Your daughter has died," they told Jairus. But Jesus, seeing the distress on Jairus' face, said to him, "Do not be afraid, only believe." Jesus continued on to Jairus' house, where he found the girl lying apparently lifeless.

Jesus took the girl's hand and gently said, "Talitha kum," which means "Little girl, I say to you, get up." Instantly, the girl opened her eyes and got up. Jairus and his wife were filled with joy and gratitude to see their daughter healthy and alive.
