Once upon a time, there was a man named Bartimaeus who lived in a small village. Bartimaeus had been blind since he was a child, and his life was challenging. He couldn't see the beautiful sun shining or the colors of the world around him. But Bartimaeus had a brave and hopeful heart.

Every day, Bartimaeus sat by the main road of the village with a hat on the ground for people to leave him coins. Although he couldn't see, he listened to the sounds of the village and recognized the voices of the people passing by.

One day, Bartimaeus heard an excited murmur among the crowd. He asked someone what was happening, and they told him that Jesus, a wise and miraculous man, was coming to the village. Bartimaeus had heard about Jesus and the wonders he performed. He knew that this was his chance.

Bartimaeus began to shout at the top of his lungs, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Again and again, he cried out his plea, filled with faith and hope.

Jesus, who was walking among the crowd, heard Bartimaeus's voice. He stopped and asked, "What do you want me to do for you?" Bartimaeus replied with tears of joy in his eyes, "Rabbi, let me recover my sight."

Jesus smiled and touched Bartimaeus's eyes. In that very instant, Bartimaeus felt a comforting warmth, and suddenly, he could see. His eyes were healed, and he could see clearly for the first time in his life! The people around him were amazed and filled with joy.

Bartimaeus stood up excited and grateful. He looked at Jesus with tears of gratitude and began to follow him. Not only had he regained his sight, but he had found the Savior who would change his life forever.
