Long, long ago, on an island called Patmos, there lived a man named John. John was an older man who had spent many years preaching about Jesus and sharing His love with people. But now, he was on Patmos, a solitary island in the middle of the sea, because he had been arrested for preaching the message of Jesus.
One day, while John was alone on the island, something amazing happened. He was walking along the beach, thinking about Jesus and praying, when suddenly, a soft and powerful voice spoke to him. It was the voice of Jesus, the same Jesus he had followed and loved all his life.
Jesus told John not to be afraid, that He was there to show him something important. John felt filled with wonder and excitement as he listened to Jesus. Then, John saw something incredible: a great bright light, like the sun, surrounding him.
Within the light, John saw Jesus, dressed in a white and radiant robe. His face shone with love and wisdom, and His eyes were like flames of fire. Jesus was surrounded by seven golden lampstands and held seven stars in His right hand.
Jesus told John to write down everything he was seeing in a book, so that other people could know about the vision He was showing him. He said that these visions were a message for the churches and that they should listen and learn from them.
Over several days, Jesus showed John many amazing visions: angels, strange creatures, and wonderful landscapes. He spoke to him about love, patience, and the importance of maintaining faith in the midst of difficulties.
Finally, Jesus told John to go back and share everything he had seen and learned with the churches and with all the people who wanted to listen. He reminded him that He would always be with him and would never abandon him.
John returned to his life on the island of Patmos with a heart full of gratitude and joy. He knew he had had a special encounter with Jesus and that he had the responsibility to share his visions and teachings with the world.
